3/4 C butter
1 1/4 C Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1/3 C rasin water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 C Oats, not quick cooking
1C Flour, all purpose
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C raisins- boil in 2 C water
1C nuts (walnuts)
preheat oven 375F. Grease baking sheets. set aside. Cream butter, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Combine oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. bake 375 for 10 to 12 minutes. cool n baking sheet 2 min. remove from cooling rack.
