2 chicken breasts- about 4 fillets
Marinade
3 cloves of garlic - or more
1 tsp of brown sugar (optional)
1/3 cup of sake and/or mirin (half of each works, if all mirin, less or no sugar)
3 TBS soy sauce (or 2 of dark and 1 of regular soy sauce)
Combine all marinade ingredients together except the soy sauce, and marinate the chicken for the day or overnight. Add the soy sauce just before cooking.
