1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk
3 Eggs yolks beaten
1 Tbsp Vanilla
2 Cups Whipping Cream
1/2 Cup Chopped Pistachio nuts
1/2 Tsp Almond Extract
1/2 Tsp Green food coloring (optional)
Mix sugar, salt, milk, and egg yolks in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just uyntil bubbles appear around the edge of the mixture in pan. Cool in fridge for 4-6 hours or until chilled. Mix in vanilla, chilled whipping cream, food coloring, almond extract. Put into ice cream freezer until desired consistency.
