2/3 Cup Shortening
2 2/3 Cup Sugar
4 Large Eggs
1 Can (1 Lb pumpkin)
2/3 Cup Water
3 1/3 Flour
2 Tsp Soda
1 1/2 Salt
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Cloves
2/3 Cup Chopped nuts (optional)
Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix still smooth. Place in greased bread pans and back for 70 minutes @ 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.
